The design centers around the legendary Empress Wu Zetian, deeply integrating local Guangyuan cultural elements such as the Empress’s Hometown and the iconic Jianmen Shu Road. The goal is to create an immersive, Tang-style children’s play environment that not only entertains but also educates.

Children are encouraged to explore the political and military spirit of the Tang Dynasty through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and technology-powered play zones. Modern edutainment tools—including augmented reality and interactive projections—enhance both fun and learning, helping young visitors absorb cultural knowledge in meaningful and engaging ways.

The storyline, “The Rise of the Empress”, leads children through a playful journey of transformation—from scholar to consort to empress—allowing them to immerse themselves in the legendary life of Wu Zetian. Key cultural landmarks of Guangyuan are also embedded throughout the space, including a Jianmen Shu Road-themed reading corner and a Lizhou Ancient City-inspired sand play zone, enhancing children’s sense of local identity and connection.
