Cloud Sky Street Mao Xian Wang Indoor Theme Park

Cloud Sky Mao Xian Wang Park is an indoor children’s playground created by Mooton, featuring local cultural elements and blending education with entertainment. We designed an engaging storyline that invites young players into a meticulously crafted fantasy world, making them the main characters. Through their experiences in various play facilities, they acquire new skills and gain valuable experiences.

Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan, China

We chose the iconic sculpture of the Golden Bull, a symbol of the Honghe Prefecture government, as the model and incorporated elements of local culture, such as the traditional attire of the Hani and Yi ethnic groups and terraced fields, to create two IP characters—Ayi and Haniu. Through our original IP storyline, we integrated locally symbolic flora and fauna, notable landmarks, and cultural elements into the theme, planning and designing various functional play areas and supporting facilities according to the story’s theme. This creates a magical and imaginative space where education and entertainment come together.

The Functional Area and Matching Indoor Playground Equipment

In our storyline design, young players must navigate through play areas such as “Thermal Extreme” and “Superpower Academy.” The “Thermal Extreme” zone includes a soft play area and a bumper car area, focusing on physical activity and challenges. This section is designed with elements like local-themed mushroom houses and distinctive textures, boldly using magical yellow and purple tones to create an enchanting challenge space. The play facilities are categorized into three difficulty levels—high, medium, and low—covering children of large, medium, and small age groups. Each young warrior can discover their latent abilities through specialized equipment for climbing, sliding, crawling, and tunneling, learning to strengthen their willpower and improve their communication and coordination skills. The “Superpower Academy” area includes role-playing spaces, a theater stage, a ball pit area, and a VR experience zone. This section focuses on recreating real-life scenarios, creating a “second-life” academy. It features various role-playing spaces such as a supermarket, hospital, police station, fire station, and earthquake simulation house, guiding young warriors to become skilled in everyday life and improving their ability to respond to emergencies.
