Our design for the Tangshan Banquet Amusement Park is themed around “Guochao,” with the entire venue covering an area of 2680 sq ft. The park is divided into five main areas: the activity area, sand pit area, ball pit area, climbing frame area, and trampoline area. This amusement space integrates the unique cultural characteristics of Tangshan, blending elements of traditional Chinese culture with modern aesthetic trends, creating a distinctive indoor base for children through cultural displays and interactive experiences.
The Functional Area and Matching Indoor Playground Equipment
The amusement space features a vibrant clash of high-saturation red and yellow colors, with the overall theme being the classic Chinese red. In Guochao design, the combination of red and yellow evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. The exploration and incorporation of distinctive Chinese elements add an element of discovery to the space. These include Tangshan Pingju Opera and the ancient Han Chinese art of Tangshan shadow puppetry, both listed in China’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Additionally, elements with strong Chinese traditional vibes, such as lion dance slides, paper umbrellas, lanterns, and ancient architecture, further enhance the experience. Through the design of scenes and play facilities, children can learn about Chinese culture while playing, truly achieving the goal of edutainment.
